From creating a walk list to navigating the show floor, this cheat sheet has everything needed to stay organized and stress-free. 1. Download SAGE Workplace to your phone from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). 2. Log in using your SAGE credentials. Need help with your password? Tap “Reset It.” 3. Tap the menu icon in the top left corner. 4. Select Trade Shows from the menu. 5. Choose the trade show from the list. 6. Explore tools like the walk list, education schedule, exhibitor info, and more. Getting Started
• Show Information: View show details, including dates, location, and contact info. • • Register Now/Badge Pick-Up: Register for the show or access your badge QR code if already registered. • • Schedule: Browse and filter education sessions or the entire show schedule. • Star the ones you don’t want to miss. • • Exhibitors: See a full list of exhibitors. • Filter, sort, or create a custom walk list. • • Floor Plan: Navigate the show with an interactive map that highlights booths on your walk list or those you’ve already visited. • • Maps: View detailed venue floor plans. • • Product Pavilions: Discover featured products in the pavilion. • • All Products: Search and explore items from all exhibiting suppliers. • • Who’s Here: At end-buyer shows, see which registered clients are in attendance. • Social: Connect with other attendees! Create a post to share with others or search through posts at the top. • • Notes: Take notes at the show and keep them all in one place! You can even email your notes to yourself or a colleague. • • View Content: View media files and email all notes and content from the show. Trade Show Dashboard Overview Once you’ve selected a show, you’ll find all your tools on the home screen.
Viewing & Capturing Education Sessions Looking for the schedule? Easy. Just return to the main show page and tap Schedule to see all upcoming education sessions and panels. Color-coded banners—orange for current sessions and blue for upcoming—make it easy to spot what’s happening now and what’s coming up next. Want to take notes, photos, or videos during a session? Scroll to the bottom of the session page and tap the camera icon to capture a photo or video. It will automatically be saved alongside your notes for that session. Prefer to upload later? Tap the file icon to attach photos or videos after the session ends.
Building Your Walk List 1. Select the show you’re attending. Don’t see it? Use the search bar to find any industry show. Featured shows will have a star icon. 2. Tap Exhibitors to view all participating companies. 3. Navigate to the Walk List tab. 4. Tap the settings icon to create a new walk list. Customize it by name, color, and sharing preferences. You can also set a default list. 5. Add or remove exhibitors by tapping the walking person icon and selecting the appropriate walk list. 6. To add suppliers from your preference groups to a walk list, go to the Exhibitors section, filter the list by your preferred group, and tap on the 3 dots to “Add all”. What’s a walk list? How to Create One: A walk list is a personalized list of booths you want to visit. It helps save steps on those big show floors—streamlining your day and ensuring no key exhibitor is missed. • Colored dots under the walking icon show which list a supplier is on. • Share walk lists with colleagues for coordinated team efforts. Walk List Pro Tips:
1. Show only visited or not visited booths. 2. Filter by preference groups (you can add your preference groups, product categories, Canadianfriendly booths, and exhibit section). 1. Sort by company name, booth number, reverse order, zig-zag, or one-side walk order for the most efficient route. Scan the exhibitor’s QR code at their booth, and it’ll automatically be marked as visited in your app. Quick Tip: Navigating the Show Floor 1. Tap Floor Plan from the show home screen. 2. View and locate booths from your walk list in real time. 3. Tap a booth for details: exhibitor name, number, and info. 4. Mark booths as visited or add them to your walk list directly from this view. 5. Capture notes, photos, videos, and voice memos for each exhibitor. No more wandering aimlessly—use the Floor Plan tool for a smooth experience.
Push Notifications for Client Activity Offline Mode At shows managed by SAGE Event Services, you’ll receive push notifications when registered clients pick up their badges. Tap the alert to see when they checked in and which booth they last visited—perfect for a timely hello. Make sure notifications are turned on in your phone settings so you don’t miss a thing. Plan ahead by downloading all trade show details while you’re online. The app saves everything for offline use. Notes, photos, and media captured during the show will automatically upload once you’re back online. Spotty Wi-Fi? No problem!
Accessing & Exporting Notes and Content Now you’re ready to take on your next trade show with confidence.
